LMP Education Trust has donated “educational-kit” to Class I to V students on February 2010 at Haldwani and Champawat.
Allahabad
LMP Education Trust arranged with the management of Central School, New Cantt., Allahabad to disburse scholarships to meritorius students ranging from the 6th to 12th classes.
The LMP Education Trust is headquartered at 19 Hamilton Road, Allahabad and was founded by Prof. M.M.Pant on 12th July 2006. It is a charitable Trust devoted mainly to matters that are related to developmental education.
It has been given the usual exemptions under the Income Tax Act, and any donations/ contributions to the Trust, are entitled to the deductions under the Income Tax Act.
The trust hopes to spread the message of free resources and opportunities in education available through the Internet. It has also given some scholarships to deserving students at the School level. Three books have been published by the Trust so far, and they will be available for free download from mmpant.net. They are in the areas of education, distance education and how to apply for studying in the USA.
