Was instrumental in persuading the Computer Society of India, Allahabad Chapter to organize a conference
on “Computers and Law” in 1983 to sensitise people in the computer field as well as the legal field towards
the important issues of interaction between computers and law.
Have been invited to specially talk on issues of Computers and Law for the orientation programmes of
Computer Science teachers conducted under the University Grants Commission scheme by Academic Staff
College, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Was specially invited by Himachal Pradesh University to lecture on Computers and Law as part of their
refresher course for Computer Science teachers.
In 1981 published an article in Sales Tax Literature on the interpretation of statutes for reconciling differences
in classification for taxation purposes. Therein the problem of reconciliation between trade related perception
and the emerging era of rapid technological development was adverted to.
Was invited by Indian Institute of Public Administration, Delhi branch to make a presentation on an “Approach
to Reduction in Litigation following the Information System Approach”.
Was requested by All India Management Association to provide inputs related to legal issues in the Indian
context for a course they offered in association with the Deakin University, Australia on Electronic Data
Interchange (EDI).
In the Post-graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management of All India Management Association,
wrote special material on Intellectual Property issues related to information systems for their course IEM-16,
Management of Information Systems.
Was specially invited by Data Quest to write an article on “Computers and Law “ which was published in the
December 1991 issue of the magazine.
In the seminars and tutorial on multimedia conducted by Institute of Electronic and Telecommunication
Engineers, I was invited to present the tutorial with special focus on the Intellectual Property issues arising
out of use of multi-media. Have also lectured on I.T. and law related issues at several seminars.
Have been requested by a leading Management education organization to develop a course on cyber-laws to
be delivered using the Internet.
